“Relax, we’re talking about Ze!’s latest single “X Lover” of her album I Am Glam. The electropop diva from Kuala Lumpur is giving away the track in exchange for a tweet or a Facebook share for a limited time. Though, from the sound of it, she’d be happy to let you have whoever it is that inspired the song too.
If you like angry break-up songs that make you want to pump your fist in the air instead of crying, then the giveaway is a pretty good deal.

Sudirman, my new hero

dear diary,
On this date 19 years ago I was one of many Malaysians who were stunned by the breaking news of Sudirman’s passing on TV. And until 2 days ago when I watched History channel’s story on him, I never really knew how amazing he was – as a man and as a musician. He truly threw his whole heart and soul into his art. Everything. 100%, no doubt. He changed my perception on a LOT of things about the Malaysian music industry; his story made a serious impact on me especially because he really was nothing like most local artistes at all.
Sudirman was a little rebel who broke many boundaries in his time, and when I say ‘little’ I mean that I am proud to say he was my height! 5’2. And all 5’2 of him was an outstanding performer who I cant help but feel left us too soon as he had so much more to give. I’ve been listening to his songs non stop since and I am now mourning a person I’ve never even met. But hey, that’s the power of music right?
You are sorely missed and I hope you are happy wherever you may be.
